THE ‘BEEN HERE A WHILE’ PRIVATE DANISH LESSONS
You know the basics of Danish already and you have found out how simple the grammar at written Danish is. However, when someone starts speaking Danish to you with full speed, you tend to switch to English or switch the conversation to more simple topics.
We focus on increasing your vocabulary, practice the more tricky grammar and increase your confidence in speaking Danish!

THE ‘READY TO TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL’ PRIVATE DANISH LESSONS
You understand Danish quite well, but want to become more fluent and be able to talk about more complicated topics. We will “polish” your occasional grammar mistakes, focus on your pronunciation and increase your vocabulary through discussions of current news, projects at work and/or topics that interest you and, most importantly, are relevant to you.

PRICE & PRACTICALITIES How does it work?

The Danish lessons can either be done online (through either Skype or Zoom) or in person at our office in Frederiksberg.
- In person lessons:
  450,- per 60 minute lesson
- Online lessons:
  400,- per 60 minute lesson
The Danish lessons can either be scheduled on a fixed day and time, or you can choose to keep it flexible and schedule a lesson from week to week.
Materials will all be online through Google Presentations. You will get access to an online presentation with grammar, exercises and vocabulary lists from our lessons which you can access and add notes to whenever you wish.
You can book a free trial lesson which lets you get a feeling of the lessons and most importantly of the teacher. Here, you will be able to see if the right chemistry is there and whether you wish to proceed with buying lessons. You will also get a chance to explain your needs, your prefered learning style and about your interests so we can customize our lesson content to you, making them as relevant and motivational for you as possible.

MEET THE TEACHERS Tatiana, Isaac, Denise & Adil

Tatiana lives in Copenhagen and teaches small classes and individual sessions. She has a practical, down-to-earth approach to learning and focuses on building the skills that the student needs to live, work or study in Danish.

As a language coach she helps students that struggle to maintain motivation or find studying Danish difficult. With coaching techniques, she helps them to find their confidence and develop a learning plan that is motivating for the student. Tatiana also teaches the PD3 preparation course that helps students prepare for and find the right strategy for the PD3 exam.

Isaac lives in Copenhagen, Denmark, where he has grown up. He gained teaching experience by immersing in the international environment, through voluntary projects helping international students in Copenhagen.

For Isaac, the most important part of language teaching, is adhering to the students wishes, and making them feel good abut themselves while learning Danish. He has experience with everything from serious PD3-preparation to complete beginner levels, and currently teaches groups as well as individual students.

Isaac believes the best way to learn any language, is while having fun, and understands that not everyone has time to study Danish full time. At the same time, he loves recommending students different homework exercises and/or literature to improve in Danish.

Denise lives in Istanbul, Türkiye. She enjoys the informal way of teaching and being friendly with her students. She is currently learning to speak Persian so she knows it can be challenging and frustrating at times but she is here to help you through the process.

She provides conversational lessons. She believes the best way to learn a language is by speaking it and make mistakes. She helps you improve your pronunciation and communication skills.

Her teaching style is to keep it fun and interesting. She uses a variety of resources to fit your needs, and will incorporate your interest to make it enjoyable for you.

Adil has a very informal and engaging approach to teaching Danish. It is important for her to establish a good relationship with her students, so that she can understand their needs, what motivates them and what their learning style is so that she can teach them in the most optimal way.

In her teaching there is room for both failure and victory. There is room to be curious and to ask questions. There is room to laugh and play because learning must be fun. And then there is room to be challenged.

From her many travels all around the world, she has learned that the best way to learn a new language is by speaking, speaking, speaking! Therefore, she focuses on teaching through dialogue so that you learn to use the language in your everyday life.
